DAYLESFORD WINE TOURS HOME
wines, ciders, spirits, ports & liqueurs.
WE'LL SHOW YOU THE VERY BEST!
Since 2011 Daylesford Wine Tours has been home to dazzling guests with locally hand made wines,
ciders, spirits, ports and liqueurs.
Created by Matrix actor Clay Watson who is trained, certified by the Wine Spirits Education Trust and loves a boutique drop (or two!).
We have a down to earth approach to talking about and tasting wines. We will introduce you to the drops you'll love without making the process unnecessarily complicated. However, if you like to Talk the Talk we will happily engage in the finer points of wine making and our local region.
We offer 2 main tours:
Talk the Talk Tour is a fun & relaxing look at 3 cellar doors.
Classic Day Tour is an awesome experience meeting the makers over 5 cellar doors
and includes lunch at the iconic Farmers Arms Daylesford.
For your convenience both tours offer complimentary
pickup and drop-off from your local accommodation.
Our specialty tours are Private Tours and also tailoring Corporate Packages with team building breakouts, trivia & showcases.
With our Private Tours you have the option of visiting local Daylesford sights & attractions
alongside a behind the scenes look at our boutique cellar doors
and one on one time with the makers.
For wedding parties or our Hens Tours we offer exclusive private transport and tastings.
Whether it be a romantic getaway, a girls weekend away or just a few days break
from the every day, Daylesford Wine Tours will show you Victoria's best.
Daylesford is a little over an hour from Melbourne, Geelong and Bendigo, making it an accessible destination for a quick getaway. Daylesford and it's sister hamlet of Hepburn Springs also play host to a range of luxury and budget accomodations along with wellness spas for extra pampering. We try to make you feel like you're at home.
We run daily tours 7 days and have access to all cellar doors that are closed during the week.

"My wife and I recently had our honeymoon in Daylesford, with this wine tour being one of the highlights.
Our tour guide Clay was very friendly, personable, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable of the area’s
many vineyards, cideries and distilleries, and has great rapport with the various owners.
While we had more than our fair share of great wine, we ended the day feeling like we’d learnt
a lot about the area and the wines on offer. Thanks for a sensational day!" Tom
Daylesford is located in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range in Central Victoria, Australia. The town has seen many incarnations from it's origin as home to the Dja Dja Warring people, to a gold-mining town during the gold rush, before becoming arguably one of Australias' most sort after wellness destinations. The town’s numerous spas, restaurants and galleries are also a draw card for most visitors.
Daylesford attractions are many. Whether you fancy an long indulgent lunch at one of the many restaurants, a stroll along the main street, Lake Daylesford or dozens of walking tracks. You might prefer a horse ride, a hit of golf, wine tasting, a ride on the Spa Country Railway to Bullarto or Passing Clouds, or a visit to the local markets, there really is something for everyone.
Daylesford plays home to a handful of diverse festivals each year including the biggest gay & lesbian festival in rural Australia the ChillOut Festival held in March each year. Words In Winter Writers Festival, the Harvest Week Festival, the Lavandula's Festivals, and the Hepburn Springs Swiss Italian Festival celebrating it's Swiss-Italian heritage.
