Term & Conditions

Insurance and Public Liability

  • Daylesford Wine Tours holds public liability insurance, however we hold no liability if you choose to drive a vehicle after the tour completion.

  • It is strongly recommended that you purchase your personal travel insurance before you travel, no matter how short the vacation is to ensure you are adequately covered for circumstances beyond your control i.e. cancelled/missed flights, strikes, weather conditions, sickness, inability to travel as full cancellation penalties will apply.

  • It is advisable to contact your insurance provider for the information on the policy that best suits your travel requirements.

Health and Safety

  • Whilst travelling onboard our vehicle and in the cellar doors, there is to be no consumption of own food, alcohol, or smoking of cigars/cigarettes/e-cigarettes or similar.

  • Due to health concerns people with fever or symptoms similar to COVID-19 may be asked to remove themselves from the bus at their own cost.

  • We may also not run tours on hot days (i.e. 30 degrees plus) pending owner's decision.

  • Please use provided hand sanitisers as much as possible on bus and in cellar doors.

  • Any damage incurred to the vehicles by patrons will be paid in full by them within seven (7) days including a cleaning fee of no less than $100.

They will be dropped off at a safe location and Daylesford Wine Tours will arrange a taxi, and at the clients own personal cost, they are to make their own way back to their accommodation.

  • Due to the Daylesford region being a high fire risk area, any days deemed by the operator to be unfit for a tour due to high fire risks will be cancelled and money refunded or re-scheduled.

Tour Variations/Cancellations

  • Tour variations and cancellations may occur due to extreme weather conditions, vineyard closures, last minute changes received from vineyards, traffic disruptions or other.

  • A minimum of 4 people (unless on a Private Tour) is required for tours to run - notification of cancellation of the tour can be sent an hour prior to disembarking. This is to ensure DWT and the suppliers do not lose money on the day. We will notify you as soon as is reasonably possible if the tour does not have enough guests.

  • If any of these circumstances should arise, Daylesford Wine Tours will revise the itinerary to impact as little as possible on the remainder of the tour. If the tour is cancelled completely, Daylesford Wine Tours will try to re-book the clients for a date convenient to both parties.

  • Last-Minute Bookings: We reserve the right to cancel any tour booked with less than 24 hours notice. Arranging a wine tour experience requires careful planning and coordination with our cellar door partners to ensure a first-class experience. Unfortunately, bookings made with less than 24 hours notice do not always provide us with sufficient time to meet the high standards of service and experience we commit to delivering. In such instances, we will provide a full refund or offer assistance in rescheduling your tour for a more suitable time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain the quality of your wine tour experience.
